Lazuli restaurant and bar is located above the Kimpton Hotel, and was designed with a 1930’s ocean liner in mind, sailing through the towers of Frankfurt’s financial district. A wraparound ceiling mural and a shiny azure bar flow through the lounge, restaurant bar and event spaces.
“Lazuli is meant to be a place for fun, with moments of eccentricity embedded into its design. ‘We wanted Frankfurt's business district to un tie its tie and head up here at the end of the day.”
STYLEPARK
Lazuli was designed around three main materials, a gridded tile, a veneer wall, and a sinuous blue bar and banquette. Their emphasis and interaction differs through the space, shifting the atmospheres of the lounge, restaurant and terraces.
The Mediterranean restaurant has a tiled wall invoking sunset light, the azure blue bar turns into a comfortable banquette around natural timber tables all set on a sandy terrazzo floor.
