Creating an iconic hotel for Portobello

Five stucco townhouses were combined into this extensive hotel, which sits at the end of the Portobello Road Market. Consistently awarded one of the best hotels in London, the aim was to create a hotel akin to a friends townhouse.

The bedrooms feature a selection of art and items from Portobello, arranged above a horizontal leather and veneer headboard with integrated lighting and storage. The designs are adapted across the diverse room types, employing antiques and found objects throughout.
