Kimpton, Frankfurt, Germany

A grand hotel in modern colour

Hospitality

The design was influenced by the building – the former Deutche Bank Headquarters. Channelling a new interpretation of the Bauhaus, this 150 bedroom hotel includes two restaurants, three bars and other amenities. The aim was to create a hotel that was exceptionally comfortable and well designed, but was memorable, playful and positive.

“The playful side of the hotel’s design is especially evident in the guest rooms. Each room in this boutique hotel has a strong personality and features unexpected elements. A combination of clean geometric shapes, warm colours - including shades of blue, rust, and emerald green - and a touch of humour creates an atmosphere that is both impressive, inspiring and relaxing.”
