Tasked with reinventing a couple’s way of living alongside their changing art collection, the studio explored the cues of colour and design inherent to the pieces, and expanded them into the interiors.
Repeated grid motifs in the textures, materials and artworks in the drawing room emerge in surprising forms, creating an ethereal backdrop to the client’s collection of strong ceramic pieces.
“The resulting interiors reflect a love for both contemporary and old master works. In the living room, the designers chose six different colors, ranging from whites to pale grays and blues, as a silent backdrop for the furniture and art.”
