High up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, is Dunton Hot Springs – a hotel created from an abandoned 1880’s gold mining community. In this small town of log cabins and its famous bathhouse, we meticulously and sensitively designed, restored and enhanced the buildings alongside the saloon and dancehall.

One of the larger restored cabins ‘Chucks’ was completely rebuilt to house three bedrooms and living areas. The bedroom took colouration from Confederate army uniforms, rugs were designed based on a settler’s quilt found at the Smithsonian and the bath was clad in timber echoing a Bourbon barrel.
